Of sleepovers and old friends

So, Xiao Wei’s leaving for Ireland next week. So soon huh.. Honestly, it caught me by surprise as well, just cos her announcement was so sudden. Then again, can’t say I didn’t expect it either. And being such old friends (dates back to primary school, okay), we did what old friends do best, we crashed her house for a sleepover.

So after all the mafaning at JPA on Monday, I went over to Xiao’s house. Carmen and Eve weren’t there yet. So I played with her dog Happy, who just got shaved but is still kinda chubby. And then watched a couple of episodes of Friends. I love how the show, even after so many years of reruns, still gets me all the time. I mean, have you ever watched a not funny episode of Friends? I don’t think so. it’d be a crime. Lol. Ooo.. and I discovered something cool that day too. Benloka on youtube. I swear, the guy is hilarious. Go check him out on youtube people. We didn’t have to cram as much as when we were at Genting so we all slept pretty well, Carmen especially. Lol. *wink*

But yeah, it really is that time again when everyone seems to be leaving for somewhere somewhat for something or another. Makes me think that soon I’m gonna be leaving too, in exactly a month mind you. Sigh. Don’t feel the least prepared to leave at all. But I am looking forward to going back to Penang after Nicole’s UPSR. A girl’s gotta enjoy all the good Penang food she can get before having to at least attempt to try to befriend icky potatoe filled British food. That, and to see my newborn baby cousin since I won’t be home for Christmas or CNY.

But then again, we should all be excited about starting uni soon. I know I am. Somewhat.
